On silvan lips

On silvan lips

How slowly tears fall,
dropping
splashing sorrow
on silvan lips,
parted to maintain
the dance.

Bow and curtsy,
a charm of evening

lost in touch
of endless spinning.

In company with
luxury,
warmed by trust,
whispered to
until tall candles
turn to stars.

Silvered coat and
moon-sullied eve

parade the fractions
of life errant.

Unbidden dreams
congeal
a glaze of thoughts -
life's laquer caught
to publically endure
small matters.

Laid in Swan's down to be
posion fed in Somerset.

Swirled through season's
clam shelled suburbia,

softened by silk
laced to luxury
burned by saltpetre hearts
swindled from life
into hellebore -
relaxed to feel

nothing.
