Your Little Chair

Your Little Chair

Your little chair is lonely now
A lingering imprint of your form
Your little chair is frozen now
Your laughter kept it warm

Your little chair is soulless now
Here without it's heart
Your little chair is common now
Uniqueness was your part

Your little chair is idle now
immobile to the eye
Your little chair is bitter now
It's frayings cannot cry

Your little chair is splintered now
This imprint cannot mend
Your little chair is helpless now
You left it to ascend

Your little chair is older now
Time hasn't healed the ache
Your little chair is broken now
With mem'ries in it's wake

Your little chair is gloomy now
No sunshine without you
Your little chair is lonely now
And I am lonely too
