Fantasy Man

Fantasy Man

Nose buried in a book, I begin my journey into another world
With long flowing locks, I turn into another girl
Living in words of a dream life in a story book land.
Slowly, and passionately falling for a fantasy man
He’s handsome, intelligent and has eyes for only me,
And when I close my eyes at night, his is only face I see.
When I am in his arms, I feel as light as air.
All my worries float away without a care.
My dream love is strong, so willing to take care of my needs
His life is adventurous and full of heroic deeds
He was restless and unhappy, until he laid eyes on me.
We had an instant connection as his soul saw my inner beauty.
Our dancing was in tune with every motion.
Bodies in harmony like a calm summer day on the ocean.
Looking into his eyes it all felt so right,
And around my waist his arms drew me to him tight.
The world all faded away
As the soft music continued to play
I for him and him for me
In this fantasy world no other love would ever be.
Than that of my fantasy man
I close the book and raise my hand,
Slowly, I sit the tome on the table and sigh
For tonight my love I say, goodbye.
