my dear mermaid

my dear mermaid

She is a mermaid in my Yahoo chat box,
Yearning to jump out onto shore to live;
Days and night, she dwells in darkness,
The vortex undersea, never seems friendly.
Mornings is not the same as on earth,
Forever, dark, forever, cold;
Crimson rays from heaven penetrate and shatter her world,
And the indigo water scolds the sea creatures with fiery voice.
A mermaid, longing to have feet to stroll with me,
Yearning to, ever, be the other half of my lomesome heart.
