Upon a horse of silken white
There rode in armor my gallant knight
His legend told throughout the land
Powerful, fearless, this gentle man.

If dragons would, as dragons dare
To overtake this maiden fair
Courageous, bold and lance held tight
He’d challenge the beast and test its might.

For days they’d rage, then dust would clear
My fears relieved, him standing near
And our love would fill the countrywide
As I became his loving bride.

Swept along on a swell-tossed sea
A pirate king to capture me
Tall and lean, rapier held fast
He reaches me, my role is cast

My needs awake, his eyes afire
I can’t escape this wanton desire
With ship ablaze I’ll face my plight
A pirates queen I’ll be this night.

And on I dream, sweet revelry
Your love fulfills each fantasy
Then you awake at dawn to hold me near
This man I love and find so dear.
