Once there was a memory

Once there was a memory

Once there was a memory
Of a beautiful, heart warming love
Of a time in the past that felt so right
And always fit like a glove
Secure in life and in the joy
Of having a love so special around
With sun filled days and moonlit nights
Our feet hardly hitting the ground
Once there was a memory
Of a life that was beautifully grand
With music, laughter and shining eyes,
Of two people hand in hand
The weathered whisp of yesterdays life
Threadbare, tattred and torn
With promise and hope of tomorrows world
Awaiting to be reborn.
