Beaten With Love.

Beaten With Love.

I could never forget the day we met,
With you I thought my life was set.
You won me with charismatic charm,
Didn't see that you really meant me harm.
The love that I thought I saw in your eyes,
Turned out to be a clever disguise.
It's clear to see that I was a fool,
Love was your weapon used like a tool.

Using pain to supress my very soul,
Always keeping me under your control.
Battered and kicked about my head,
Until I thought I was nearly dead.
Stripped away from all of my dignity,
Removed any trace of what used to be me.
Allowed only to be what you dictated,
My lust for life soon dissapated.

To humanity you made me a strager,
Who's casual glance could put me in danger.
My will replaced with your desire,
In the name of love you're such a liar.
Promised to punish if ever I left you,
Worse would it be that I would go through.
Leaving or staying to me was death,
You had to own my every breath.

With nothing to lose I walked out your door,
Refusing from you to take anymore.
And now here am I fully alive,
Body and soul somehow survived.
You needed me to play that role,
Your not a man without your contol.
Without you I am all that I am,
With out me you're less then a man.
