You past yourself off, a respectfull gent,
With wisdom, morals, and intellect.
I didn't notice the clever facade,
I was right for the game that you played.
I didn't see past the clever veneer,
To the smile I know now was a sneer.
You eye'd me up qucikly to ascertain,
My weaknesses for your arrows to aim.
You lured me in, the benevolent being,
Didn't see you as the contemptuous feind.
I believed you as it's my nature to do so,
You had no reason to be mean and untrue.
You held me so tight in a cage of disdain,
And set to work prefecting your game.
I loved the man I thought to be you,
You made me believe you wanted this too.
I let you hurt me over and over,
And you would have done so forever and ever.
You said I was sick, blind to the truth,
But the lies you told held all the proof.
You tried in vain to make me look crazy,
Said my vision was distorted and hazy.
When it came to you I was just being used,
Now I have a history of being abused.
But oh look at you, Your just a user,
When it comes to us women, your an abuser.
