Through it all

Through it all

As the crisp winter rolls on, cold and bleak; i sit alone upon my desolated bed,
Your warm presence wraps around me tight, your memories keep my starving heart fed.
And as i cry each solemn tear, which drop like dominoes syncronised to perfection,
Your photographs wipe the moisture clear and drain the waters of my affection.
No tissue can console my loss, no thoughts can bring my solemate back,
Yet through obscurity and recollection, i struggle to put my life on track
And as haunting mist eclipses the clouds, and howling dogs break their tune,
I dream of my hand in yours my love, and i pray my wish is answered soon.
