I feel you deep in the pits of my soul, coursing through my veins,
Etched in my blood like DNA
So many tears have burned stories of sorrow into my pillows.
Waking up mid-night, mid-nightmare, mid emotional breakdown,
Wishing I could sleep again to see you once more,
But grateful I awoke from such painful memories of you.
You destroy and replenish me at the same time,
I cry out in agony and pull you closer to me,
My nemesis and soul mate all in one.
Like kryptonite to my strengths,
Pain that feels so good, Desire that hurts so bad.
My Soul Seductor haunts me,
I look deep into the eyes of the one I fear, and behind those eyes I find the one I love.
My heart begins to pain as its pierced.
I struggle to hold back tears as it takes my breath away.
Is this cupids arrow I feel, or the dagger of betrayal? Maybe both.
Taste my tears, the tears of anger and of joy.
Take my fears, as though they’re yours.
Save me from you. Cover my all in your arms, shelter me from the other side of you.
