I'm a Markdown

I'm a Markdown

The one whom I loved the most
left me abandoned like burnt toast.

Boundless grace I could use
to help me walk in these dreaded shoes.

Am I real or part of some delusion.
The answer lies in love’s confusion.

My surroundings are suddenly bare
and my once keen perception has a tear.

I’m not cool anymore.
I’m a markdown in a five and dime store.
