Oh, There You Were

Oh, There You Were

When I first discovered you in this world,
A light lit up inside of me.
I didn't know a girl could be so pretty
But there you were, oh, there you were.

You were just standing there,
Seeming like you were all covered in gloss,
All neatly wrapped, just taken out of a box,
The greatest gift alive.

When all hope left, I thought I was stranded.
I really felt like I was abandoned,
Branded with a hex that seemed greatly candid,
Although it was a lie

Because then I discovered you in this world
And a light had lit up inside of me,
I didn't know a girl could be so pretty
But there you were, oh, there you were.
