Moonlite Love

Moonlite Love

With silvery-white moon glow

Shimmering off the heads of the wheat

And light glimmering like polished glass

Off a smooth running creek

I peered over the top of a grassy knoll

And saw two naked bodies frolicking in the water below

I should have left to grant them their privacy

But couldn’t do it to save my soul!

The beauty of the woman’s moon illuminated white skin

Shown brightly against the mans tan

And their slow rhythmic love making

Sounded like a soft angelic band

The syntactic coos of the woman

And the base grunts of the man

Were muffled by a cool breeze

And a rustling of leaves in the sand

The thrills of watching them make love

In pastures with a creek gurggling free

With silver moonlight up above

Sent shivers from head to knee

All I could think of was the couple down below

About how beautiful love-making could be

Of how it seemed to rapture their soul

And how I wished it could happen to me!
