Did I not love you well
enough before with
my most passionate love;
my most tender sentiment;
my fiercest ardor?
To you I was a pleasant
trifling; a harmless bit
of playacting.
For your patience I am
eternally grateful.
For now I will lay
my memories down
to go to a life beyond.
A brave new world wide,
rich and strange.
