take arms against a sea of troubles
from teaching the young ides to shoot
trooping of the colours
a mighty fortress is our god
even now the devastation
is begun and half the business of
destruction done .
all quiet on the eastern front
ich hatte ein schones vaterland , es war
es traum
it may be that he find me still
a village heeds the beating of a distant
the monsterous anger of the guns
short days ago we lived saw sun set glow
is there no pity in the clouds
halt and the blind
allah il allah din din din
stabbing with practised melancholy
this bright uncomprehending
this was a home
this was a church
this was a forest
but he was a man
