Sinking, sliding into a dream;
being demolished inside.
His voice, warm, entreating,
seduced me.
Mesmerized, I surrendered.
Pain began to ease as I sobbed.
An aura of excitement flourished
willing my imagination to move with
great intention.
Melodious voice behind the mask,
beautiful, simplistic, pure.
Healing has started
at the crossroads of my life.
Courage has been bolstered
by a reclaimed connection
to love
