Fingers touch skin
That burns my flesh
Like a red hot iron
Bubbling up like blisters
From the heat

Tender moves in the dark
Can’t see the person you appear to be
Just the motions
Gently being made

Tickling scents rush
That salty arrogance
That hurts when it hits
And the elegant taste
More than enough to entice

My eyes closed
To what the world accepts
My heart beating fast
Feeling my way around the steps

Knowing by hand
The love you provide
With your satin gaze
And smooth voice
Your long sighs when content

Nothing to lose
But shear time
A clock sounding
From far in the distance

Silence bearing all
Like holding a weight on sloped shoulders
Waiting for you to say what I want to hear
Only feeling hot knife hands
Being taken away

Heaven just out of reach
Hell a little too real
Doors being closed
Heart being torn wide open
