Reading letters of a lost love,
he''s sitting in the backroom,
wishing it could all be over.
The last words she said to him,
are ringing in his ears again.
How could he have been so blind?
Now what is he to do,
oh what is he to do?
Should have never let her go.... never let her go!
He's broken now.
Everything is crashing ''round him!
He's fighting somehow.
To not end it all, instead.
He's killing time
Even though each second hurts.
He wonders how... he's gonna make it on his own.
Looking at photos of so long ago.
She's sitting at the window.
She's aching deep inside.
Words ringing in her mind
"Forever, will you be mine?"
A promise was broken.
How can she go on,
how will she go on?
She died the moment she walked out the door... when she left him alone!
Tears stain her cheeks.
Eyes red, she's a wreck!
She won't give in,
Her thoughts are figting for action!
She'll go outside, in to the world.
What will she do, if she sees him.... it's a chance, she's gonna take.
Remembering a lost love,
they walk the streets mindless.
Both are numb inside.
Walking on the same street,
the other they do not see.
Both blinded by the aching.
-Poems are not just words written on papers. First, they were words, written in minds, and on hearts.-
