Barrier

Barrier

Words struggle,
To liberate themselves from her lips,
My ears were waiting impatiently,
To shelter heaps.
They couldn't break the barrier,
Of an unwanted potential,
My heart wouldn't listen to the truth,
Which were real.

It was love who wouldn't listen
It was pain who understood.
Patience was the course,
The heart had to choose,
The void in the bondage,
Made the friendship loose.
Cherishing,
Every memory I can gather,
Because,
A gem of a relationship is about to shatter.
