Walking Wounded

Walking Wounded

Lesser half within better self, I''ve been blindfolded, beaten and left on the shelf.
I''ve got voices in pockets that are leading the blind.
Oh some one gave me the drug, but left out the high.

Blood on the carpet, truth in these walls.
Caged in this paradox, locks on the doors.
Heart in your mouth now, dismantle the sun.
Smash all the wise men, who said this would be fun.

Fucked all the cherry and left me for dead.
I''ve joined the walking wounded inside my own head.
Truth without feeling,feeling without sight.
Screaming in silence, no yearning to fight.

Baron and wasted, unchaste & unpure.
If your love''s such bad medicine, then what is the cure?

Soul in the sink now, dreams made of glass.
I''ve moved to this future, you''re still in the past.

So lesser half within better self, I''ve been blindfolded, beaten and left on the shelf.
I''ve got voices in pockets that are leading the blind.
Oh some one gave me the drug, but left out the high.
