Shot Through The Heart

Shot Through The Heart

I''ll deny to the death what I hold in my throat,
Her passionate feelings are what lie in the note,
For all the pain that I''ve had and all the nights of struggle,
Cold rainy days where we''d lay in the basement and snuggle.
Now, have an agenda, make a new plan,
Find a new lover on this hot white sand.
Oh, that dream vacation where I''d love to be,
Or with the girl I love so passionately.
So I say: Learn your life lesson. Go on to teach.
All the new generations, who have already cleared the breech.
That love is a shotgun with a sabot slug shell.
The same one to get you locked up in a cell.
When the trigger is pulled the sabot slug starts,
To enter your flesh and tear through your heart.
