Ways of Farming

Ways of Farming

Leeches on your body, pools in crevices
I'm crying for happiness is painful
Losing my sight in a Mediterranean dish
The night hesitates, turns back, trots away
I am the keyman of my desires

Fallen in mire with you, pickled, salted
Sucked, torn open and looted, tinned
My body too stupid to find a way
To the realm of forbidden imagination
Drying ropes supporting broken butter cups

Your heart is overflown with smashed furniture
Splinters join in a procession of May
While the other keeps telling keepsake stories
About my aridation of fields years ago

But people love like crazy, overturn cars
Leave all possessions on the road and stumble
To a great arch from where flying saucers
Distribute them to other people''s dreams
