The taste of summer is near.
On a ragged bridge I stand next to you.
The intoxication coming off of our bodies is astonishing.
Lightning illuminates the blackened vault above.
I snatch a peek at the ice of your sapphires which freeze on mine.
Thunder rolls over, cracks, and crashes endlessly giving no rest.
I grasp and press our hands in a secure hold.
Globs of rain pour on us while your gaze is locked on me.
A smile is created on your face as your lips slightly skim over mine.
Thoughts and passion start to spiral out of my grip.
I''m lost in this storm with you and satisfyingly its not vanishing.
