As you come close to be held,
your satin skin touches me deep.
Your breath on my neck,
like a gentle fleece blanket
to keep me safe and warm
on the darkest and coldest of nights,
and your soft rhythmic breathing,
relaxes me, body and soul.
Gently your lips touch mine,
and I’m deeply stirred and aroused.
As we snuggle and kiss I realize
there’s no where else I want to be.
just here, now,
beneath the covers,
bodies entwined,
and our souls,
entangled in our love.

"The greatest warriors are the ones who stand for peace." H. Near
