Summer heat in the darkness,
sweaty nights of imagination,
as my mind wanders to you.
I can see you before me,
skin glistening salty sweet
in the moonlight.
You are hotter than the night,
barely dressed in your green satin.
I lay upon you in the sweltering heat,
as our bodies slide into one another.
I lick the sweat from your lips
in a tender kiss.
as our passion passes through the night.
when morning rises,
wet sheets and exhaustion
are all that’s left,
of the summer heat,
in the darkness.
