Invisible Builders

Invisible Builders

Your children, my dear
Intervals, ships sailing out in mist
No pacific love for years

I'm cutting bread and offer
You a catalogue of furniture
The sky suspiciously green

Bring out old shoes, wicker chairs
Pulverized moths, ropes
And sticks, we are going to build

You cannot imagine what beauty
Knits a jumper in you
When milk reaches the boiling point

How to measure the dazzling space
The blinding night, crushing pain
Or seasons on the beach?
