I Shall Weep No More©
By: William Phenn

So many years I’ve loved you.
So many years it’s true.
You’ve always kept your secrets.
What is a man to do?

I can not even call you.
Your number you don’t share.
Are you afraid that he’ll find out?
Is that why you don’t dare?

What is it that is keeping you,
From telling me straight out?
What hold is on that precious heart,
That has so much more clout?

Like razor blades on fragile veins,
My words they cut me deep.
I write this for my sanity,
In hopes that I may sleep.

I love you more than you will know
My precious turtle dove,
I have to end this painful ride.
My angel from above.

My life can not continue,
This never ending dance.
There is more to relationships
Than just a passing glance.

Your emails and the phone calls,
I really did enjoy.
But I wonder of your honesty,
Was it all a twisted ploy?

Well no matter Baby Blue Eyes,
I give you your release.
I rescind all the pressure.
So we shall both have peace.
