…I would have told you this.

…I would have told you this.

If only my heart had tears,
You would see me in and ocean of sadness,
And I would be drowning.

If only you knew the place where my heart beats,
You would find it in a room of darkness,
Where your love would be the only light.

If I could change what I have done
I would have given you my life
Because you have stolen my heart
And now I do not live at all

I would have forgotten all that I have
Because your love showered me in diamonds
And now I have nothing at all

I would have promised you my dreams.
Because your touch is my only inspiration
And now I do not dream at all.

If I could change what I have done
I would bow at your feet in the morning,
And in the evening I would hold them in my hands
And wash them with my tears of joy.
Every day with you would be beautiful.

I would hold your son in my arms,
And in the night I would thank God in my prayers
Because in this child I would see your face,
And you would always be with me.

From my kiss you would find peace
And when you are tired my arms would hold you.
My touch would take away your fears,
And together we would be happy.

If I could change what I have done
