I remember the way you smelled,
The last goodbye.
I remember how you hugged me,
And when I used to try.

You were the light in my life,
the reason I am alive.
you then were taken away from me,
it amazes me how I''ve survived.

I get upset from time to time,
because of how you went away.
I hate that this had happened,
I wish you could''ve stayed.

They say God works in ways,
Ways we can''t explain.
But I am still counting the days,
and yet I still remain.

I wish I knew the reasons,
and why I tend to sigh.
Why the seasons change,
and why I have to cry.

It hurts so much,
because you are gone.
Things could be so different,
but I have to sing this song.
