You're My (Street) Poetry

You're My (Street) Poetry

Light complexion..
With your long brown hair,
I should''ve known I couldn''t have found a finer dime ''round here.
So my instinct was a quick link!
Extended my bio,
But you ain''t really never reply though.
With patience, I awaited your arrival..
Hoping you could light my night like the 5-0.
Surprised your response was in fact,
That you like the way I looked..
Then you hit me right back.
Exchanged digits....
And in a flat,
5 seconds you called.. Not business at all.
I fall from my chair!
The voice in my ear,
Would''ve warmed any man better than winter gear.
My fear was that you would change.
I''m second guessing,
Asking questions and I didn''t even catch your name!
It''s so insane,
I''ve never felt nothing like this.
I write this and leave remains of a light kiss
Far beyond my wish..
You are my Poetry.
