Alone you stood, firm proud and strong
All along hiding that there was something wrong
U said u''d be all right put on a strong face
Carried on normally doing everything with grace
A replica of yourself made in clay
Selfish and foolish you pushed everyone away
Using your skin as a shell
while your soul battled this brutal hell
Your laugh mechanical and your smile fake
I can''t bear to watch, far too much for me to take
I observe with my heart and what i see
is the old you trying to break free
Shouting out for some one to hold
To care for you and shelter in the cold
Now it''s time to take off your mask
Time to face the most difficult task
Put aside your worries and fears
I will take the responsibility of crying your tears
There is no longer need for you to stand alone
For i know the real you and not the one made out of stone
It''s time for you to escape this seclusion
All along youve been living an illusion
u let me in and then i reach a door
It won''t let me in, there is nothing i want more
than to kick it down and go right in
but i guess this time u wont let me in
Then again u walk away
and inside my heart is bleeding for u to stay
