Love's Adventure

Love's Adventure

A haven from these winter snows
thy lovely cheeks of rosy glow,
where round about dark tresses tumble;
cascade of silken coils, perfumed of heaven.
Of thee I sing, and kiss in dream thy lips,
caressing ever gently then, soft alabaster skin,
on beauteous swan-like neck and throat.
Exquisite, thy shoulders cupped here now,
in trembling hands which seek the prize.
With mine thy supple form entwine,
guiding me into that fertile valley,
where reason needs not introduction,
time knows not of age or past,
you and I becoming children once again,
nestled snuggly in love’s great adventure.
