she curses to an empty room
wrung out, highly strung
curses, causes deeply rooted
and he''s there to be stung

let down by those she trusted
his love her anchor in strife
he knows she curses at herself
her words still like a knife

so she moves on, starts anew
he''s left to hope and pray
the new guy loves her just enough
to tell her it''s okay
