Anomaly

Anomaly

Rating:
vexing, voracious and volatile
distantly morose, yet bubbling
speaking in unknown tongues
lavishing my face with kisses
the lady is an angelic anomaly
incongruity her earthly forte
ethereal attributes shining
as every star of the heavens
she enters my soul in dreamland
heralded by scent of rare perfume
tresses in shades of pitchblende
spill downward over ivory breasts
eyes closed I trace her form
etching every line in memory
breath ragged as I am taken
riding love’s magic carpet
swirling in throes of ecstasy
across a brilliant universe
