Worthless Glass

Worthless Glass

Bright blue and silver
Scattered everywhere
False diamonds falling
From the air

You ran to catch them fast as you could
But I think you midunderstood
They weren't real
They were a lie
I cannot fix this between you and I

Sharp and deadly as the sin
You have committed
You thought you'd win
From a whore you cannot find
Morals, intergrity nor peace of mind

You had real love
But put it aside
For false diamonds that fell from the sky
Now you're broken battered and blue
See what false diamonds have done for you

You should have left it with the trash
Those worthless shards of broken glass
Love's not for sale
This you have found
As your false diamonds litter the ground

For Al
