Kissed in the Rain

Kissed in the Rain

A chill in the summer air
created by the rain
that fell from the sky
like diamonds and stardust.

Lightning and thunder
all over my body
when my lips met his
and ecstacy erupted.

Floating beyond the Oort Cloud,
tasting faeries on my tounge,
the jewles called rain
froze in place.

No one in the world
but him and I
nothing interupting
but the occasional raindrop.

I pulled away,
barely able to speak,
barely able to think,
to breath again.

I have never kissed
in the rain before.
It won''t be
the last time.
