The Mystery

The Mystery

I feel it bursting from within
The song sweeter than the phoenix''s
The waves caressing my heart
The flames gently soothing

It''s here again
The invader welcomed
The trespasser needed
The cold that heats the soul
The treasure that loots the heart
The light that dwells in the dark

It''s the warmth that loathes the dead
The gift all babes recieves
The joy a maid truly knows
Caused by a knee and a ring
A treasure when bestowed
Turns a beggar to a prince

It''s the light that shrouds us all
The whisper that breaks the wall
The call I can''t resist
A whisper and a kiss

The mystery imbedded in time
A forever in a minute
A journey to heaven''s gate
As shared by love''s culprits
Intertwined in love''s embrace

The puzzle still unsolved
The mystery of the missing rib
Know not what it is?
It''s probably why you''re reading this
