Two as one...

Two as one...

Peaceful sanctuary,
draped glass windows,
sills of wood,
shutters leaning
loosely.

Geranium window box,
worn,
sun baked brick,
slight breeze,
drapes float,
softly,
sweet air.

Ivy growing,
taller,
wild flowers
as weeds,
covering front
porch staircase
of stone.

Calmly they sit,
serenity over comes
them.
Two as one delighted by,
setting sun.
Soundless time of day,
sleepiness,close...
not far away.

Studying,
expressions of lust,
or is it love,
possesses the moment.
As they smile
slowly to arise,
enter, upstairs,
two as one,
look into
each others eyes.

Thankful for the day,
they shower,
caress each as one,
bodies embraced,
falling water,
flowing hair,
untied, undone.

Moons light filters
empty room,
her cotton frock,
thin,silhouetted
by the moon.

Two as one,
naked as they lay,
entangled lovers,
human touch,
a beautiful display.
