Fantasy Man

Fantasy Man

He''s feisty, articulate,
regal, and refined.
As he opened his sweet
archaic mouth,
vestiges of wisdom fell out.

He''s a smear of intelligence
atop a cracker I want to nosh.
Lips so divine whispering rhapsodies
smooth as kaleidoscope
glass entering every niche of my mind,
stirring feelings so sublime.

Absent from reality,
breathing in and out
his enlightened, meticulous words
propelled my imagination to soar.
Feeling refreshingly new,
I''ve stopped looking for tomorrow
because my fantasy man is here.
