Losing Love.

The terrors of the night
Are savaging my sleep
Horror ripping me apart midflight
Awake I lie and weep.

Ridden by the hate
Lying there I shudder
This will be my fate
Never will I be utter.

In the darkness
Comes the pain
I lay near breathless
Choking down again.

It only hurts when I am alone
When the world is shut out
My hate and demons are about
My head set to the gravestone

I will pay for my sins.
Not wanting to wake or sleep
I lie surrounded by self-hate.
My life shallow my pain deep.
I can’t look towards heavens gate.
Only this living hell to await.
