Silence

Silence

Unspoken words surround us like a cloud.

Our eyes meet and we become paralyzed by silence.

We spend few moments together and yet the separation is always too long.

I feel your heart beat, yet I’ve never touched you.

Across the horizon, the winds of passion blow invisible to everyone but us.

The seed of this organic vibe was sown with a gentle smile and simple “hello.”

You looked at me and I returned the glance; I approached and you retreated.

When you close your eyes you see me, when you reach out for me I’m not there.

You long to hear my voice as you replay our conversations in your mind.

You laugh alone.

So much is said without a sound...

No words can capture the power of our silence.
