I am comfortable within the sounds
of silences and deep breaths
and the feel of your touch.

I drown in the intensity of your stare,
sink deep beneath your warm skin.
You sink with me.

You breathe in and
I breathe out,
a dance of inhalations and exhalations
rising and falling
to beating hearts.

We breath one another in
to remain intact.

You swallow me in great gulps of need,
I quench your thirst
and flutter in your stomach.

We are question marks, exclamation points, commas;
pauses in thought as we slip into the familiar,
upon white sheets we are fetal

waiting to be born with the rising sun.

We are intertwined, clinging.
We are perfect.

~Thou shalt have an everlasting Monday and stand in the moon~
