Heart Beats

Heart Beats

She lies,
within the cocoon of silk.
Soft alluring caramel glow,
preserved elixir of passion.
Dare I move, dare I touch,
or lay still admiring heavens fabrication.
For I am a sinner,
prisoner of desire,
convicted by ecstasy.
Inch by inch, slithering in
wanting to touch god by her lips.
Tenacious beats, faltering arms.
questioning my manners,
Silence echoes the dusk.

Small people talk about others,

Average people talk about things,

Great people talk about ideas.
