Baby, I am surrendering to you.
Feeling so limp.
Just reach out and take my arms and legs away, toward the warm breeze that smells like the sweet scent of you.
I would follow and skip to it in a melodious tune.
I would breathe in and never want to breathe out again.
I would let it caress my body, and fondle with my hair-with the thoughts of it being you.-
I would dance and sing to it, thanking the lord for bringing you back to me in this sudden moment.
I can feel you enter me.
Your beautiful presence awakens my soul.
It''s brighter than a thousand candles.
I love you more than any piece of wind in this world.
For the wind is you, and I am so in love.
The leaves sway to you in jealousy, because they know you are still mine.
The daffodils break apart just to get caught up in you.
But I know that is impossible for anyone or anything to get as tangled in you as I am.
The doves fly to you, thinking that they will add to your beauty.
Those imbisul birds have no idea how perfect you are to me.
I close my eyes to picture your lips.
Feel them press up against mine.
I taste that one familiar flavor that used to be my life-long drink.
You are finally with me when the wind blows.
I could not envision a world without your precious wind.
Then, the breeze stops...
Reality makes me open my eyes just to see cars moving and people walking to and from work.
All of those everyday, simple things that I used to enjoy take place.
They do not appeal to me any longer.
You are no where to be seen.
But I will wait for you, my love, to lift me off of my feet once more.
I will wait for you, baby, because when the breeze wizes through this earth, there is no place I''d rather be, than with you.
