If heaven grants one image,
To comfort me in everlasting sleep,
The most beautiful earthly remembrance -
Your smile in mine eyes I would keep.

Or if I could take just a scent,
A souvenir of this mortal place,
Then all would be consumed,
Your perfume would fill outer space.

If I could carry one word,
To resonate in immortal ears,
I choose your name to be with me,
Echoing the infinite years.

If heaven grants one feeling,
Let it be the love between you and me.
May it shroud me with peace and joy,
Through the depths of eternity.

I will always be with you.
