The girl of my dreams

The girl of my dreams

I''ll tell you all about a girl,
the girl about whom I dream everyday,
the girl of my dreams,
the girl perfect in every way.

Does she come in my dreams,
or do I dream of her too much,
O God, why can''t dreams turn to reality,
because I long for her touch!

She has got those lovely brown eyes,
which show love for me so deep,
those rosy red lips utter those three words,
and make promises that she''ll keep.

When her hand touches my face,
I start to smile my best,
and my heart beats for her,
when her head rests on my chest.

When a strand of her hair,
falls and covers the side of her face,
I think of my heart,
and imagine it as her place.

When I''m with her,
very passionately she kisses me,
and when I''m not by her side,
truly and deeply she misses me.

Sometimes, when my love for her gets too much,
I feel like sleeping and dreaming for eternity,
but then I think I shouldn''t,
because dreams aren''t better than the reality.

In my dreams, I dream of her,
but in reality, it is you whom I see,
because dreams aren''t the reality,
and in reality, I have you here with me,
because you''re better than that,
you''re better than anything I could ever dream.
