In the shadow stands a shape of you trying to escape

And the sky stayed dark so away you stray, hessitant to my dismay

Forgotten in the dark fog the memories that distress the minds shoreline

I once awoke soaked with joy just a little boy unaware of time

I now stare awake in the garden of eden to find a familiar snake

The tree I climbed the apple intact this man cannot be cracked

How could I show you for you I will always stay firm for the long term

I was once always on your mind but now you lost the time you''ve gone blind

But the endless shoreline will always grab you and leave me behind

With the crash of a wave I can be the one you forgave
