I'll wait.

I'll wait.

Why do I have to sit here and lie?
Saying I''m okay, that I don''t want to die.
I can''t seem to focus on anything,
Except the sorrow, the hurt, and the pain.
At night, I got to bed and attempt to sleep.
But, I all I can do is lay there and weep.
When I close my eyes, I see your face.
I remember your kiss and feel my heart race.
Then, I remember, you''re not in the country.
You were gone so quick, you left here without me.
I start to wonder where you are now,
Wishing I could see you someway, somehow.
It''ll be years from now until I feel your touch.
That makes me cry, it''s just too much.
But, I will wait for you, I have no choice.
I just want to hold you and hear your sweet voice.
