A Destiny Short But Brief

A Destiny Short But Brief

Time passes on, we grow older
Glimpses of our youth shadowing
Every fabric of my being.
Was I really her?
Fallen and free.
Captivated by all that
Comes her way.

Artistic by her own right.
Drawn to every passionate word
Of love.

Believing in all and nothing.
Strong, hopeless but not helpless.

Soaring through times unknown
To the naked eye.

Dancing in the arms of destiny.

Laughing, crying.
No, don''t let go.

He calls to her.

This shadow of a man.
My knight, my love.

Fire to every touch.
Craving, wanting she must.

Dancing in a fog,
Long roads traveled.

Blinded, helpless, lost.

His shadow is no more.

A destiny short but brief.
