Letting You In Was Easy, I Don't Know If I Can Let You Out Now. <3

When you first kissed me
I swear I forgot how to breathe
When you grabbed my hand
& held it all night long
Something kept tellin me..
It''s alright to let my guard down,
But I just wasn''t sure..
I made sure to keep them locked at all times,
but somehow you opened a new door
& later that night, as I layed on your chest
Something told me it doesn''t get any better than this.
For so long I gave up on Love
& I realized that''s what I''ve missed
Something told me to let go of all the fear
& all the what-ifs..
I let down my guard, I let you in
Just enough to shut that voice up that was telling me to give in.
When we kissed & said our goobyes
somewhere deep down inside me, I knew I wanted you in my life..
I knew I had to let you in my world,
if there was any chance of me being your girl..
With all honesty.. I didn''t think that I could do it. I thought I didn''t know how..
As the days turned into weeks, &
the weeks turned into months..
I realized letting you in was easy, but
I don''t know if I can let you out...
